Chelsea Cano is a poet/song-writer from Los Angeles, CA, who now calls Riverside home. Intertwining her passions as a spoken word artist, yoga instructor and event organizer, Chelsea has been consistently writing poetry and loves to share her words with the community. Currently, Chelsea just finished writing her 1st poetry book, Even the Gods Pay the Sunshine Tax, set to be released December 2024. This work is deeply rooted in her personal experiences, from the most mundane to the absolute bizarre. From being a published songwriter as "Nite N dae," to beginning her book writing journey, Chelsea is currently thriving in the literary space, crediting writing as a grounding, healing experience. Her writing style embodies raw authenticity and through her words, she paints vivid portraits of urban life and human emotions, inviting readers to explore the depths of their own human experiences.
