50 years of hip hop
Genre like R&B and pop
East vs West coast
Battle which area song hits the most
Originates from the boogie down of the city that don’t sleep.
Hear the lyrics that are strong, bold, and deep.
Develop a whole new profile
Through dance, art, and clothing style.
Hot at Atlanta and California love
Remember the artists from here and above.
Embrace the old school.
Influence the new school.
Appreciate the sound.
On the streets or underground.
Sounds that can’t stop.
Dance once the beat drop.
Respect the moments and honor the stories
From the 20th to the 21st centuries.
Words to the wise.
Will always televise.
