[Poem-a-Week] i will never forgive it by Linda M. Crate
i remember when the bus driver told me she liked your flowers, thinking that they were ours instead; how i wish you were still here blooming like those flowers did in such lovely and vibrant colors— but the world isn't always fair, if it were you would've never gotten sick; brain cancer is cruel just as most cancers are—but that is the one that took you ten days after our birthday, and even though it's not a person; i will never forgive it for the crime of taking away someone so beautiful from my life.
